100 Years of Horror
You know those nights when you’re searching through all the streaming services you have as you can’t make a decision and everything seems too long?.
I came across this documentary series on one of t hose nights, each episode is only 25 minutes long so perfect for filler, brain dead, or commute times.
Each of the 26 episodes consists of a collection of clips loosely based on a different central theme each week with Christopher Lee narrating throughout.
Though there felt to be a lot of repetition throughout the series I enjoyed it, the pool of clips seemed to come around with striking regularity and there did seem to be a concentration on the western canon of horror.
Another thing was that even though it was called 100 Years of Horror there were very few films from later than the 70s. Probably due to licensing feew or such.
Even with all these issues it was a fun little use of time watching it all.
