I came to this with very low expectations and I wasn’t disappointed…

Starring Chloë Grace Mortez plays Maude Garrett, a flight officer on a top secret mission on board the Fool’s Errand, a Boeing B-17.

She is sent into the ball-turret machine gun of the B-17 to keep her out of the way until the crew could figure out who she was and what she was doing on their plane.

Practically the whole film is set in this enclosed space with the dialogue taking place over the comms, initially without the rest of the crew knowing that she is listening in which leads to graphical discussions.

As the film progresses secrets are revealed and a gremlin gets in the works, literally. There are some scenes when Maude has to go out of the ball-turret that are hilarious and might make you want to fast forward a bit, but overall her character is great.

The film is very low horror, low action, and felt low budget though the visual effects are actually OK, better than I thought they would be.

If you have a spare hour and a half and aren’t up for much this is worth a watch, especially the final five minutes where Hit-Girl returns.
